So much of the adoption process is managing your expectations vs God’s plan for the process. We talk so often about trusting God, and yet we continue to battle with Him over the timing and the speed of progression through the process. Below are some pictures that we received this morning of Katelyn receiving the cake and photos that we sent her in anticipation of our arrival. Kelly has been impressed this week with the following verse

[24] The LORD of Heaven’s Armies has sworn this oath: “It will all happen as I have planned. It will be as I have decided.

What a beautiful reminder that God cares about you and things will happen as He sees fit. We would do well to rest in that verse on a continual bases.
