Hotel Apartment Tour

Today was a free day and it was a pretty slow day.  We started with a late breakfast and then we went out to find Charlie and Ashely some new shoes.  Charlie has been complaining about his for a couple of days and since we are going to the zoo on Monday, we though it would be good to find something that was comfortable.

Here is the picture of Charlie BEFORE he crashed later in the morning.  More on that later.

With Ali’s help we were able to find a reasonably priced pair of shoes at the “WalMart” type store up the street.

For those not getting shoes here, it was a little boring.

We searched for quite awhile for shoes for Ashely but was not able to find anything.  While going up one of the streets, Charlie took a really good tumble, messing up both knees and his elbow.

It was the first time I have seen him cry.  The accidnet took a little bit out of him and I carried him on my shoulders for awhile.

We went inside to escape the heat and the possible rain and took a nap while the kids watched “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2.”  Kelly had to run to a meeting with the translator and the other families, so the kids and I did a little tour of the apartment!

Tonight we went on boat cruise up the Pearl River.  In usual from, Ali and Katelyn entertained the children …

Finally, it was time to board our boat.

  1. Wow, I’ve never seen anything like that apartment in a hotel. How much is it a night? Should we book now for July? 🙂

    1. $750USD/night right now. Probably $480-500/night when you are here. If you have the deep pockets, it is a really nice space. It is so big that if the girls are downstairs in the master and I am upstairs I can yell for them and they can not hear me! Best hotel space we have ever had …
